The challenge
A vital element in projects focused on designing software used in Visa, Master Card, and American Express cards is a responsible and large technology partner, because errors are extremely costly.
What we did
Sii consultants took part in many projects related to the development of software for VISA, Master Card, American Express, etc. to be used by most of the banks functioning on the market. The following work was carried out under these projects:
- Implementation of solutions for contact and contactless smart cards, for electronic profiles of debit cards for offline use, for credit card profiles with two applications, for contact smart cards with two payment applications; design of functionalities enabling PIN encryption; implementation of options to use more than one chip in a card.
- Migration to new cards/chips, migration of cryptographic keys to a new data base, migration of debit and credit profiles, including those with architecture enabling dual use; migration of profiles on contact and contactless smart cards.
- Pre-personalization of cards according to client guidelines, including cards used for public transport and loyalty cards for one of the largest Polish producers of fuel; automation of card printing.
Effects
Errorless operation of software since the beginning of cooperation with the Client. In a timely manner we delivered software to most of the banks functioning on the market.
