About the client
The largest manufacturer of processors and chipsets. The Polish branch is responsible, among others, for embedded software.
The challenge
The need arose for support in the implementation of projects outside the main focus of the enterprise. These projects were entrusted to Sii. Some of them involved software quality assurance.
What we did
Sii established a number of design teams dedicated to hardware / firmware / software validation in technologically advanced projects. Examples of projects implemented by Sii team:
- Validation of RapidStorage technology – design of scripts validating the correct operation of the RAID matrix, and SCU drivers dedicated for Windows and Linux systems.
- Validation of firmware for server platforms.
- Validation of graphics card drivers.
- Validation of USB 3.0 standard drivers.
Effects
The Client was able to focus on major aspects of its operations, which improved the company’s productivity.
