Providing a testing service for an Icelandic airline, in order to provide excellent customer experience related do digital systems
The challenge
Due to the changing environment and business needs WOW Air decided to implement some technological improvements and update the functionalities of the company’s web site. The technological changes and implementation of new functionalities were followed by the need for comprehensive testing services.
What we did
We built an independent team of quality assurance specialists who provided a comprehensive testing service during the implementation of the new web site. The main tasks of the team included:
- Preparing the testing process and test planning in the process of implementing new functionalities
- Manual tests of web applications (including regression, exploratory and usability tests)
- Testing mobile applications in Sii’s own mobile test lab (iOS, Android)
- Accessibility testing based on the latest WCAG 2.0 standards
- Non-functional tests – performance and security tests of the web site
- Implementing testing management tools and improving the testing process
- Automation of the main business cases using Selenium Web driver
