A leader in innovative manufacturing solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. The company is a full service supplier of turnkey automotive Body-in-White assembly systems, conveyor systems and industrial cleaning technologies.
The challenge
Due to the lack of engineers with adequate competences, big experience and references of Sii engineers in terms of assembly systems and conveyor systems our Customer established a long-term partnership with Sii for engineering services in GM projects.
What we did
- Sii is involved in Opel program delivered by the Customer. Our main responsibilities are PLC software development and commissioning of PLC based Body-in-White assembly line.
- Our team of 4 engineers have finished a ramp-up and knowledge transfer phase (including try and buy period) and currently are a part of Client’s Delivery Team.
- Sii engineers are now a big added value for the project. We are focused now to extend scope of our services for the Client. We are also developing our competences throughout our activities in the project. Our engineers’ work is highly appreciated and rated by Customer.
