About the client
Ingenico is a France-based company, whose business is to provide the technology involved in secure electronic transactions. Its traditional business is based on the manufacturing of point of sales (POS) payment terminals, but it also includes complete payment software and related services, including software for merchants.
The challenge
Designing a web application for about half-a-dozen factories, which will improve production planning, using forecasting process based on past and present data and by analysing trends.
What we did
- We created a base framework that will be extendable by additional modules that will appear in the future; for now it is just the production planning module.
- We released an application for a client present world-wide.
Effects
We started as a small team consisting of 4 members and in a really tight timeframe we have delivered a working solution to the client, which featured even more functionalities that were originally planned.
