The challenge
Complete buildup of a fully autonomous cloud data warehouse, encompassing ERP, fishing and production data; including automatic and frequent data refresh.
What we did
- Sii has been selected as a strategic IT partner in the area of data warehouse construction,
- The project involved extracting the data from a variety of sources, most of all the client’s ERP system and some specialized company-wide systems, as well as third party tools, and building a big, autonomous and coherent data warehouse,
- A team of consultants/developers has been working both on the customer’s location and remotely to ensure the full understanding of the client’s business processes, operations and data,
- Sii has also performed a thorough description, classification and filtering of the generated data, to make the outcome easily understood and used by the business.
Effects
Sii specialists have built a central warehouse for client’s key data and third party information, enabling the company to perform a cross-sectional, company wide analysis of their operations, as well as build predictive models for optimizing their catch and production, thus highly contributing to the increase of productivity and yield.
