About the client
One of the biggest solution provider for all the essential components in the process chain for car body and powertrain assembly, including related checking and test systems for the automotive and supplier industry.
The challenge
Because of the strong competition between the suppliers of services and solutions for the automotive market, our Client had to face this challenge and create an offer for its customers which would be much more competitive in terms of prices, but would not interfere with the very high quality standards of the offered solutions.
What we did
We began our cooperation with the Client with the implementation of a project for General Motors. Sii was responsible for designing software and commissioning 6 machines operating in a line for the assembly of automatic gearboxes. Sii’s engineers had to design software for drivers (Siemens S7) and HMI panels, and also to put into operation all in-line components of industrial automation (drives, sensors, pneumatic equipment, motors, safety systems, etc.).
Cooperation with Sii allowed the Client to gain a competitive edge and to establish a Unique Selling Point. Encouraged by successful cooperation with the Client we are now planning to continue it in new areas.
Effects
We provide the Client with complex support in commissioning projects around the world. Cooperation with Sii has become the Unique Selling Point (USP) for the Client. We are planning to extend cooperation in new areas.
