An international manufacturer of paints and varnishes based in Finland
The challenge
The main goal of the project was to find a solution to manage and restrict devices for multiple uses:
- Warehouse devices – for stock count only
- Canteen devices – Workday app for employees
- Intel comp stick – Win 10 devices used for presentations
What we did
- Configured an automated device enrollment process for iOS and Android devices
- Created a separate Kiosk configuration for Warehouse and Canteen devices
- Used device restrictions to allow users to access particular websites only
- Set Windows 10 configuration and application to run presentations in the correct order
Effects
All devices have limited access and can be used only for a specific purpose. Dynamic AAD groups will automatically collect devices from specific manufacturers (Honeywell, etc). Configured WIFI profile has been pushed to all devices to connect automatically.
