Working with the Pirogov First Volunteer Foundation operating in Ukraine, we supported medical aid in the war zone. We donated PLN 50 000 to the foundation to refurbish 10 ambulances and to equip them with our volunteers. As part of our joint activities, Sii volunteers were trained in first aid and communication with people returning from the frontline.
In cooperation with the Turbota-E Foundation, we provided vital support to the communities in Eastern Ukraine. Sii donated PLN 16 000, and thanks to the additional contributions of our employees, we supplied 10 power stations to frontline areas, ensuring access to electricity and communication. Additionally, the gifts for 130 evacuated children from the humanitarian center in Lozova were sent – sweets, handmade toys, and puzzles.
Sii Power Volunteers together with the Adapa Foundation organized a t-shirt-making workshop with exceptional instructors – beneficiaries of the foundation. This project was an opportunity to get to know people with disabilities better and show them how important and needed they are.
The hospice is a place that restores hope to the suffering when medicine is helpless. Our volunteers took care of the plant garden and installed pergolas in the “Garden of Dreams”, creating a beautiful space for patients to relax. Additionally, they participated in psychological workshops, breaking stereotypes about hospices.
