We are looking for an Applied Researcher specializing in NLP and Large Language Models to work on cutting-edge projects in the financial domain. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement advanced AI solutions that analyze and process large volumes of financial documents.

You will address real-world challenges in applying NLP and LLM techniques within finance, contribute to advancing state-of-the-art AI capabilities, and help deliver scalable, production-ready machine learning systems.

Your tasks

Designing, developing, and implementing scalable NLP-based solutions to support business use cases
Conducting experiments to evaluate, optimize, and improve model efficiency and effectiveness
Implementing and adapting state-of-the-art NLP and LLM techniques for financial applications
Developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, production-ready machine learning code
Providing technical leadership and driving cross-team AI initiatives
Clearly communicating research ideas, results, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Representing the client at conferences and within open-source communities
Collaborating closely with engineering and research teams to advance production-grade ML systems

Requirements

Strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and large language models
Proficiency in Python with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and software engineering best practices
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to design and deliver production-ready machine learning solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Curiosity, ownership mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Nice to have

Prior experience in the finance industry
PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
Industry AI/ML experience (preferred: minimum 3 years for Bachelor’s/Master’s or minimum 1 year for PhD)

Завдання

Проектування, розробка та впровадження масштабованих рішень на основі НЛП для підтримки бізнес-кейсів
Проведення експериментів для оцінки, оптимізації та підвищення ефективності та результативності моделей
Впровадження та адаптація найсучасніших методів НЛП та LLM для фінансових додатків
Розробка, тестування та підтримка високоякісного, готового до виробництва коду машинного навчання
Забезпечення технічного лідерства та управління крос-командними ініціативами в галузі ШІ
Чітке донесення дослідницьких ідей, результатів та інсайтів як до технічних, так і до нетехнічних зацікавлених сторін
Представлення клієнта на конференціях і в спільнотах з відкритим вихідним кодом
Тісна співпраця з інженерними та дослідницькими командами для розвитку систем машинного навчання виробничого рівня

Наші очікування

Знання методів обробки природної мови (NLP) та великих мовних моделей
Володіння мовою Python з ґрунтовними знаннями структур даних та алгоритмів
Відмінне розуміння алгоритмів машинного навчання, глибокого навчання та кращих практик програмної інженерії
Практичний досвід роботи з фреймворками глибокого навчання, такими як TensorFlow, PyTorch або Keras
Сильні аналітичні здібності, критичне мислення та вміння вирішувати проблеми
Здатність розробляти та впроваджувати готові до виробництва рішення для машинного навчання
Відмінні навички усного та письмового спілкування з технічними та нетехнічними аудиторіями
Допитливість, власницьке мислення та здатність ефективно працювати в командному середовищі

Буде перевагою

Попередній досвід роботи у фінансовій галузі
Доктор філософії в галузі комп'ютерних наук, машинного навчання, математики, інженерії або суміжних галузях
Досвід роботи в галузі штучного інтелекту/машинного навчання (бажано: мінімум 3 роки для бакалавра/магістра або мінімум 1 рік для доктора філософії)
