Reliable data on cost efficiency and performance of the cloud environment
Improved security and greater control over data hosted in the cloud
Rising costs and limited scalability of on-premises infrastructure
As the organization continues to grow dynamically and serve an increasing number of clients in Poland and internationally, KR Group operated an extensive IT infrastructure based on local servers and on-premises solutions. Increasing maintenance costs, the need for improved scalability, and growing requirements around data security across multiple locations prompted the organization to explore alternatives to traditional infrastructure models.
At the same time, KR Group aimed to streamline communication and collaboration between teams – from IT to project teams – by introducing modern tools for device management and remote work.
To assess the business and technical potential of cloud adoption while minimizing migration risks, KR Group selected Sii Poland as a trusted partner with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and IT infrastructure modernization.
Analysis, planning, and implementation of the Azure cloud environment
Sii Poland conducted a detailed analysis of KR Group’s IT infrastructure and prepared recommendations based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
The work covered strategic workshops, development of a migration roadmap, and the setup of a cloud-based test environment.
Scope of work included:
- Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) workshops to define migration priorities and technical assumptions
- Design and deployment of an Azure Landing Zone aligned with Microsoft best practices for security and scalability
- Implementation of Microsoft Intune to enable centralized device management in a distributed organization
- Validation of the cloud environment in terms of data protection, security, and reliability
Reliable data on cost savings and the potential for further Azure environment expansion
The pilot migration delivered by Sii Poland allowed KR Group to validate the capabilities of Microsoft Azure and obtain reliable, data-driven insights into cloud costs, security, and operational efficiency.
As a result, the organization gained a solid basis for informed decision-making and long-term planning of further IT infrastructure modernization, grounded in measurable test outcomes rather than assumptions.
The new Azure environment improved data governance, strengthened security, and enabled flexible testing of new solutions without the need to expand on-premises infrastructure. The implementation of Microsoft Intune additionally simplified device management across multiple locations.
