The challenge
The Client had several systems to support different business processes. The accounting, HR and payroll systems were not integrated with the time management system, recruitment system or document management system. Data from individual systems were entered many times, which was ineffective, caused extra labour costs and created the risk of data inconsistency. Data distributed in individual systems were difficult to compare, and reporting options were also limited. In addition, the accounting system was unable to present a sufficient number of financial aspects and was not suitable for project accounting. The maintenance of several applications created high user costs.
What we did
Under the project, a new environment was created based on the integrated MS Dynamics AX 2012 system supporting back-office processes. The new system enables procurement management, automated invoicing, integration between reporting work time and expenditures with project accounting and budget planning. All back-office processes previously supported by separate systems were integrated in the new solution with the accounting, HR, payroll, CRM and recruitment systems. The implementation of the new integrated system not only optimised business processes through their transfer from old systems and improved functionality, but also structured new business processes and their implementation in MS Dynamics AX.
Effects
Through the implementation of the ERP system, the Client significantly reduced administrative and accounting costs, improved efficiency and timely invoicing and increased the number of reporting options. After implementing the system based on a single technology, the company has only one team of administrators and this helps to reduce system maintenance costs.
