About the client
Swiss multinational healthcare company operating worldwide under two divisions: Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics. The company is a leading innovator in healthcare and the fifth largest pharma company worldwide.
The challenge
A need for one global data warehouse storing data from all the Client’s branches around the world. In addition, a lot of regions or independent units need data for reports, which must be collected from different systems.
What we did
- We created a global data warehouse from scratch, integrating data from different CRM systems from the whole world.
- We created ETL processes for supplying the data warehouse and separate applications supporting sellers, and also scientific-technical workers.
- We created processes, aggregating data for report systems.
Effects
- Data warehouse, serving the most of the European, Asian and American countries.
- Reports with data prepared by us are used by the main management staff in the head office in Basel and San Francisco.
- Scientists use the data prepared by us for further research work.
