SHV Energy is an international group of energy companies based in the Netherlands. Currently, it serves more than 30 million customers on four continents.
The challenge
The company decided to implement a large project to standardize, centralize and move key systems used in the group’s companies to the cloud. Building a modern work environment based on cloud solutions was one of the elements of this program.
What we did
We carried out the process of migrating MS Exchange and adopting Office 365 solutions in the company’s business units located in more than 15 countries on 3 continents, with an emphasis on safety and enabling undisturbed work of employees during the implementation. The whole process ended with training in most important applications, including SharePoint, One Drive and Microsoft Teams, aimed at end-users.
Effect
MS Exchange in the cloud and launch of the Office 365 solution in the group’s companies. The results of the work, including the implemented communication and cooperation tools, have a significant impact on the activities of the entire SHV Energy Group. It is a very important element in the case of a globally dispersed entity like the SHV Energy Group.
