Sii’s experts delivered an end-to-end program – from analyzing the business needs of Sales and Logistics, through data-architecture design, to implementation and go-live of an analytics platform on Microsoft Azure. The outcome was a single, central reporting environment covering all group companies.
Scope of work included:
- Process and source-system analysis to identify reporting gaps and inconsistencies across countries
- Data-warehouse architecture design in Azure, defining a data model for Sales, Logistics, and Controlling reports
- Consolidation of data from AX 2012, Dynamics 365, and local databases into a cloud data warehouse
- Implementation of automated ETL processes with Azure Data Factory to eliminate manual effort
- Deployment of a Power BI analytical model tailored to multiple departments and management levels
- Automation of business notifications and alerts (e.g., sales results, KPI threshold breaches)
- Knowledge transfer and workshops for Mercator Medical teams to enable self-service report development
With this in place, executives and operational teams gained a ready-to-use tool to monitor sales across nearly 70 countries – without manual data stitching or reporting delays.
