Strengthening the specialized engineering team for an automotive project
The client launched a project to build and integrate a production line dedicated to assembling electric powertrain systems. To ensure smooth execution and maintain delivery timelines, the company required engineering support capable of taking ownership of specific areas of the project.
The project required a wide range of technical competencies, from PLC programming and mechanical and electrical design to the assembly and commissioning of the completed stations. Sii Poland was selected as a partner thanks to the trust built over many years of successful cooperation with the client, as well as the availability of experienced specialists familiar with similar industrial automation projects.
Through close collaboration, several critical stages – design, assembly and testing – were conducted in parallel, enabling timely delivery of complete assembly stations forming part of the larger production line.
From design to commissioning of complete assembly stations
Sii Poland provided a team of engineers with complementary competencies: mechanical and electrical designers, assembly technicians, robotics engineers, and PLC programmers. The experts covered the full lifecycle of the assembly stations – from concept development and detailed design, through mechanical and electrical build, to programming, testing, and commissioning at the production site.
The scope of work included:
- design and construction of station equipment
- development and implementation of PLC software
- preparation of mechanical and electrical documentation
- assembly and commissioning of stations at the client’s factory
- final testing and optimization of the production process
Fast and safe production launch
Thanks to the involvement of Sii Poland specialists, the client received fully equipped and thoroughly tested production stations meeting strict automotive quality standards. The team covered the entire delivery scope – from engineering design and PLC integration to assembly and on-site commissioning.
The multidisciplinary project team enabled efficient and on-schedule completion, ensuring a stable and predictable execution process. The project was a natural continuation of Sii Poland’s cooperation with the client, ongoing since 2012, covering projects in similar areas of production process automation.
