The challenge
The purchase dept works with a huge number of product indexes, especially price changes. Data can be found in SAP while Excel is used for manipulation and checks. Uploading back to SAP is a serious challenge.
What we did
- Checked the robot’s capability of working with SAP & Excel
- Analyzed the process and taught the robot to recognize it based on test scenarios and test data provided by the customer’s team
- Went through tests step by step
- Involved the process owner in robotization and made them the robot’s keeper
