About the client
A Swedish company that offers infrastructure automation and monitoring services for railways and water and sewerage industries. Currently, client systems are handling 60 municipalities' operation of water for half of Sweden's population, monitor the Stockholm metro infrastructure.
The challenge
To develop a cross-platform mobile app, cooperating with internal customer systems, making it possible to silence and acknowledge alarms using push notifications, without having to start the emergency computer.
What we did
- The cross-platform mobile app was implemented using Xamarin Forms connected with Azure Notification Hub, showing push notifications and alarms in real-time.
- Also, dedicated Server-Connector backend services which allow securing data exchange with internal customers systems (using RSA cypher algorithm).
Effects
Our application is successfully deployed to production being used by customer employees. It is also part of the system, which is one of the main elements of customer offering for the water and sewage industry.
