A consistent development model for the EasyClaims platform
Faster, parallel delivery of new insurance products
Ensuring a stable and modern platform for insurance partners
The insurance market operates under strong regulatory and technological pressure. Insurers expect solutions that enable rapid implementation of changes, automation of claims processes, and seamless integration with partner and service provider systems.
For insurtech companies, this means balancing continuous feature development while maintaining stability in production environments.
As EasyClaims evolved, Scalepoint required greater delivery capacity to accelerate new feature rollouts and expand its product portfolio, including solutions for motor, property, health, and partner shop claims. In the long-term development of a complex SaaS platform, stable teams with strong domain knowledge are essential to support parallel development across multiple components.
The growing system complexity, combined with integrations involving numerous external partners, required larger teams, standardized processes, and a delivery model ensuring predictable and controlled releases.
To support further platform growth while maintaining high quality standards, Scalepoint partnered with Sii Poland – bringing together Digital Engineering and Testing Services capabilities to provide end-to-end software development support.
Development and maintenance of the EasyClaims platform
A team of 70 Sii specialists – developers, testers, analysts, and technical leads – working across eight Scaled Agile teams, took responsibility for the development and maintenance of EasyClaims modules.
Sii experts covered full-stack development, integrations, quality assurance, and preparation of release units. Rapid domain knowledge acquisition and close collaboration with Scalepoint’s Copenhagen-based team enabled effective planning, estimation, and parallel execution of multiple workstreams. Team stability, supported by low attrition and strong recruitment practices, further increased delivery predictability.
Scope of work included:
- Product and source code takeover, including restructuring existing components to prepare them for further development
- Implementation of a feature flag ecosystem to enable controlled rollouts, targeted testing, and reduced deployment risk
- Development of software automating claims handling processes – from tools supporting loss adjusters to applications for end customers
- Full-stack development and testing across five core products: EasyClaims Auto, Building, Content, Health, and Shop – covering 44 independent deployment units
The new operating model enabled parallel component development, reduced time to market, and improved overall platform stability.
As part of the ongoing partnership, Sii continues to support Scalepoint in developing and maintaining the EasyClaims platform, ensuring system stability and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Sii teams are also involved in implementing new functionalities, onboarding new clients, and maintaining a future-ready, continuously evolving environment.
“The Sii teams are professional, thorough, and quick to acquire the industry knowledge required to operate in our domain. They demonstrate a strong ability to understand complex challenges and consistently deliver high-quality solutions.” – Kristian Helner, Director of IT Dev & Service Excellence, Scalepoint A/S
Predictable platform growth and secure multi-market deployments
With Sii’s support, Scalepoint now operates a stable and scalable EasyClaims environment where new modules can be deployed efficiently and with controlled risk.
Parallel development of automation tools – including solutions for adjusters, valuation and verification modules, and end-customer applications – expanded the platform’s functional coverage and improved claims handling efficiency.
Continuous component development and regulatory alignment have enabled faster updates, smoother client onboarding, and expansion of EasyClaims with features required across additional European markets.
