Growing project scale and the need for a consistent approach to business analysis
As the organization developed and the number of IT initiatives increased, there was a need to structure the way business analysts work and to define common standards of cooperation between project teams.
It was essential to raise the level of knowledge in the area of business analysis, clarify the scope of analysts’ responsibilities at subsequent stages of project delivery – from defining requirements to their verification at the testing stage – and to standardize the processes and tools used in modeling.
To ensure a high level of subject-matter quality and a practical approach, the bank decided to entrust the delivery of the workshop cycle to Sii Poland experts with extensive experience in conducting training sessions and analytical projects in the financial sector.
A cycle of business analysis workshops tailored to organizational needs
Sii Poland experts delivered a comprehensive training project aimed at providing practical knowledge in business analysis and standardizing the role of the business analyst in IT projects. The workshops were designed based on the organization’s individual needs and focused on the use of modern process modeling methods.
The scope of activities included:
- Conducting interviews with bank representatives to precisely identify needs and expectations regarding the training program
- Preparing a dedicated workshop program and training materials tailored to the organization’s specifics
- Delivering a cycle of business analysis training sessions attended by over 250 participants
The implemented program enabled participants to gain practical process modeling skills and to define requirements more effectively in their day-to-day project work.
Tangible training outcomes and long-term cooperation with the client
The business analysis training sessions delivered by Sii Poland experts enabled participants to better understand how a business analyst supports a project – from defining its assumptions and scope at the analysis stage to verifying the fulfillment of requirements at the testing stage.
Participants gained the ability to precisely define the scope, processes, tools, and modeling outcomes, which translated into greater consistency and effectiveness of project activities. The completed workshop cycle strengthened the competencies of project teams and improved communication between business and technical areas, contributing to higher quality of requirements analysis across the organization.
The training project is another confirmation of successful and long-term cooperation between the client and Sii Polska. Since 2015, Sii has been supporting the bank by delegating specialists and entire teams to work within project groups. The cooperation has been carried out professionally and effectively, confirming a high level of trust and the quality of services provided.
