In 2022, Aliplast was growing rapidly – expanding production, investing in green technologies, and strengthening its European presence. The increasing project load and infrastructure complexity required a stable, resilient IT environment to support growth and protect data. The legacy setup lacked full redundancy and centralized oversight, meaning disturbances could trigger downtime and financial losses measured in the hundreds of thousands of PLN. To prevent this, Aliplast’s leadership engaged Sii Poland to design and deploy a modern IT infrastructure that guarantees uninterrupted production and robust security control.
A new, secure IT foundation delivered in 3 months
The project’s strategic goal was to improve the stability and security of Aliplast’s production systems. Sii fielded a multidisciplinary team spanning infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity to deliver an end-to-end solution.
Scope included:
- Hardware infrastructure modernization – boosting IT performance and reliability
- Aruba Central – centralized network management and simpler monitoring
- Aruba ClearPass – access control and protection against unauthorized connections
- HPE SimpliVity – hyperconverged infrastructure providing full redundancy
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) – stronger protection of user identities
The new IT environment enables continuous production without downtime risk, simplifies administration, and materially increases security across the plant network.
Centralized management, redundancy, and security
Aliplast gained a stable IT landscape that supports daily production and ongoing growth. New hardware, centralized network management through Aruba Central, and access control via Aruba ClearPass improved security and eased the workload for IT teams. The SimpliVity-based architecture keeps systems running even if a component fails, while MFA further protects system access. Together, these changes minimized downtime risk, strengthened customer trust, and created a flexible foundation for future expansion.
