Stable SAP S/4HANA environment for Poland and Belgium
Faster resolution of ~200 monthly tickets and incidents
Fragmented data and lack of centralized ERP limited visibility into core processes
Operating across more than 50 countries, APS sells through a variety of channels — private labels, wholesale, discount retailers, OEM, and e-commerce. This highly diversified model revealed the limitations of its existing systems: data silos, process fragmentation, and poor visibility at the global level.
To enable continued growth and manage finance, logistics, and manufacturing processes efficiently at scale, APS needed a single, fully integrated ERP platform.
To ensure a smooth and secure transition to the new operating model, APS was looking for a partner to implement the critical SAP S/4HANA modules, support the go-live phase, and provide long-term maintenance in an AMS model.
APS chose to partner with Sii Poland — a certified SAP partner with a strong track record in large-scale ERP projects and comprehensive post-implementation support.
END-TO-END IMPLEMENTATION AND EXPERT HYPERCARE SUPPORT
Sii Poland assembled a scalable project team of over a dozen specialists across key SAP domains: Finance (FI/CO), Logistics (SD, MM, EWM), Production (PP), Planning (IBP), as well as ABAP developers, a Project Manager, and BASIS administrators. With a combination of implementation, support, and advisory capabilities, Sii became a one-stop shop for APS’s SAP needs — ensuring both successful delivery and ongoing operational stability.
The scope included:
- Implementation of core SAP S/4HANA modules: Financial Accounting & Controlling (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Production Planning (PP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Data migration and environment configuration for APS entities in Poland and Belgium
- Application Management Services (AMS) handling ~200 support tickets monthly across 3 support tiers
- Hypercare support post go-live, ensuring a smooth system adoption by end-users
- Ongoing optimization and system development aligned with evolving business needs
INTEGRATED FINANCE, LOGISTICS, AND MANUFACTURING PROCESSES IN POLAND AND BELGIUM
With new SAP modules in place, APS gained end-to-end visibility and control across finance, production, and logistics. Multilingual system interfaces support daily operations across countries and teams.
Sii successfully implemented and continues to support the ERP system for 160 users in two countries, ensuring incident response within 4 hours per SLA. Continuous operational support has minimized downtime risks and ensured uninterrupted business continuity.
Sii experts monitor system performance, deliver regular updates, and enhance functionalities — allowing APS to automate more processes and scale globally using the same SAP infrastructure.
The implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) has enabled APS to better align production with actual demand, reduce inventory excess, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
