About the client
One of the biggest solution provider for all the essential components in the process chain for car body and powertrain assembly, including related checking and test systems for the automotive and supplier industry.
The challenge
Due to strong competition between service and solution suppliers on the automotive market, our Client had to face the challenge and create an offer for his customers, which would be much more competitive in terms of price, but would not interfere with the very high quality standards of the offered solutions.
What we did
We began our cooperation with the Client with the implementation of a project for an American industrial concern known, i.a. for car production. Sii was responsible for designing software and commissioning 6 machines operating in an automatic gearbox assembly line.
Sii’s engineers had to:
- design the software for drivers (Siemens S7) and HMI panels, and also,
- put into operation all in-line components of industrial automation (drives, sensors, pneumatic equipment, motors, safety systems, etc.).
The cooperation with Sii allowed the Client to gain the competitive edge and establish a Unique Selling Point. Encouraged by a fruitful cooperation with the Client we are now planning to expand it to new areas.
Effects
We provide the Client with complex support in commissioning projects around the world. The cooperation with Sii has become the Unique Selling Point (USP) for the Client. We are planning to extend the cooperation to new areas.
