We are looking for a skilled Senior Control Engineer to join a project focused on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions. If you have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and Control Engineering, along with expertise in MATLAB and Simulink, this opportunity may be the right fit for you.

Your tasks

Designing, developing, and maintaining MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems used in AC Electric Arc Furnace power supply solutions
Analyzing control system requirements and translating them into functional and software specifications
Developing and validating control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink
Configuring, implementing, and testing control logic within ABB control platforms
Participating in software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
Supporting the development and optimization of drive control strategies for industrial power electronics applications
Working with Control Builder and CodeSys environments to implement and maintain control solutions
Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including electrical, control, and power electronics specialists
Performing simulation, verification, and validation of control systems using Real-Time Simulation platforms
Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design through commissioning and operational support
Contributing to technical documentation, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering
Deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development
Strong domain knowledge in Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems
Experience with ABB control platforms and familiarity with Control Builder
Practical experience in developing and optimizing drive control strategies for industrial applications
Advanced level of English

Nice to have

Knowledge of CODESYS and Real-Time Simulation systems
Familiarity with ABB control platforms

Співпраця з мультидисциплінарними інженерними командами, включаючи спеціалістів з електротехніки, керування та силової електроніки
Виконання моделювання, перевірки та валідації систем керування за допомогою платформ реального часу
Надання технічної підтримки протягом усього життєвого циклу проекту — від проєктування до пусконалагодження та експлуатаційної підтримки
Участь у підготовці технічної документації, оглядах проєктів та обміні знаннями

Наші очікування

Мінімум 5 років досвіду в електротехніці, силовій електроніці або інженерії керування
Глибокі знання MATLAB та Simulink для розробки алгоритмів керування
Сильні знання в області приводів середньої напруги та їх систем керування
Досвід роботи з платформами керування ABB та знайомство з Control Builder

Володіння англійською мовою на просунутому рівні
